LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — As Black Friday winds down, mom-and-pop shops across the Las Vegas Valley already have their eyes on Small Business Saturday.
For some, the big day of sales can help bolster their revenues that might have been down during slower months like the summertime.
And for others, it’s an opportunity to bring in locals for the first time and hopefully gain new repeat customers.
"It is very important for the community to support small businesses because we are your neighbors. We are your friends," said Sarah Collins, chief financial officer for the Main Street Peddlers Antique Shop in the Arts District. “When you spend money in a small business, you are helping me put my child through college.”
