The health benefits of lavender oil for the skin can be attributed to its antiseptic and antifungal properties. It is used to treat various skin disorders such as acne, wrinkles, psoriasis, and other inflammations. It heals wounds, cuts, burns and sunburns rapidly as it aids in the formation of scar tissues. In soap making, the term "bastille" commonly refers to cold process soap made with at least 70% olive oil. Olive oil is extremely gentle, making it the perfect oil for delicate or sensitive skin. As well as Lavender Pure Essential Oil I have added Ground Lavender Buds for exfoliation to enhance the benefits and aroma of the Lavender.
